With environmental matters now becoming increasingly important many businesses are looking to monitor their impact of the environment and do something about it.

Vehicles are often an underestimated factor when looking at corporate pollution emissions. Pollution from vehicles accounts for 20% of the UK’s CO² emissions.

Data from the vehicle’s engine management system is now captured to enable vehicle emissions to be calculated per journey.

The Araminga system compiles a report with actual vehicle CO² emission data. This information allows a company to accurately record their CO² usage should they wish to calculate their carbon footprint or make offsets to contribute to CO² reduction.

Most are aware that the Kyoto climate treaty calls for reductions in emission levels, which have been converted into local targets by our Government. When companies exceed their limits or want to contribute to CO² reduction, they are able to trade their emissions balance on the open market.
